Hardship is just something to be dealt with on the way to a much higher and more important goal. Soldiers don’t talk about hardship — they talk about progress towards the end objective. Not so for many job seekers. They talk about the length of the search, the number of unanswered resumes, their shortage of money, and the things they’ve lost.Where’s the high purpose that’s driving them in their search? You were told to expect trials and tribulations. If you choose you can allow these hardships to build your faith, and you can reap a harvest of steadfastness and confidence from your continued endurance. So fight on, soldier!

I thank God that I am empowered by the Holy Spirit and can stand strong in times of adversity.
