You can get your mind so fixed on a particular outcome that you place all your hope in it to solve your problems. Then, if it doesn’t come to pass as you expected, the disappointment is great. But God offers a different hope. He gives us the Holy Spirit to fill you completely with His awesome and perfect love. When you experience that love you know that all is well and you will be victorious. Will you put your hope in the fact that God loves you perfectly and is making a way for you, or are you going to put your hope in getting that particular job, or selling that project? If you choose to place your hope in the Holy Spirit, know with confidence that you will not be disappointed.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I have a hope that will not disappoint.
- By faith I receive a revelation of God’s love for me and my heart is filled with His presence.
- Because I keep my hope in God alone as I look for my nextwork assignment, I will not experience disappointment.
Word of the Day
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
