Thoughts
Are you brave enough to hear that you may be part of the problem? Many of us have lost jobs without ever understanding what we did wrong or how we contributed to our joblessness. All we know is that we are “sorely afflicted.” If you’re causing your own troubles, don't you want and need to know it? One thing is certain — you can’t solve a problem with the same level of thinking that produced the problem in the first place. King David acknowledged that he needed to be made new again. Are you willing to say that? Why not go to God in prayer and place everything before Him? Tell Him how much you’re hurting and ask Him to make you new. He will show you things you have to change about yourself. Then He’ll give you the ability to change and He’ll tell you how. Are you willing?
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I need God to make me new; I cannot change myself.
- I have the power of the Holy Ghost within me to help me change.
- The Word of God gives me life. I seek it for answers and my direction.
Word of the Day
I am sorely afflicted; renew and quicken me [give me life], O Lord, according to Your word! (AMP)
