Career Tip of the Day

Self
What kind of steward have you been? Have you faithfully handled the things that havebeen entrusted to your care? How about in the workplace, in your past jobs? This is sometimes hard to face, but the message is clear. Jobs that offer increased authority and compensation will only come when you demonstrate faithful stewardship over your current position and assignments. You aren’t permitted to give less than your best to jobs that you deem to be “beneath you,” or act disrespectfully to supervisors you judge unworthy. If you haven’t behaved as a good steward in your past jobs, now is your chance to confess it and repent. Determine to behave in your next position as if you are working directly for God himself. Start now in your job search by being grateful and careful with every blessing and opportunity you receive. Then watch God as He rewards your faithful stewardship.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I acknowledge that every good thing I have is a gift from God.
- I am God’s steward. By the Holy Spirit I will serve Him faithfully.
- By faith I receive increased responsibility and increased blessing as God’s faithful servant.
Word of the Day
“The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! ’
Matthew 25:21
