Thoughts
Isn’t it amazing that God has to suggest which choice to make? Who wouldn’t choose life? But when you have to decide between God’s way of responding in love or the more common way of looking out for yourself and responding in anger, do you always choose life? Consider the choice you face as you conduct an employment search. Ask yourself, am I living my life as God’s royal heir and an ambassador for Christ? Or am I behaving like a beggar, hoping someone will have pity on me and give me any old job before I lose everything? It’s up to each of us to choose life and stand on the Word until we see it come to pass. God’s blessing isn’t yours automatically — you have to choose it with every thought, every action and every word, every day.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I choose life. The blessing of Abraham is manifesting in my life.
- My choice brings blessing to my children and I receive that gift by faith.
- I declare that I am a child of God and Jesus is my King and Master.
Word of the Day
“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! NLT
